Mathrubhoomi Rural Development Society (MBRDS)

We strive to encourage self-reliant societies by taking care of rural, tribal, & backward communities. With the use of healthcare, education, and skills training, we aim to help those in need.

Mathrubhoomi Rural Development Society (MBRDS), is a non-governmental organization established in the year 2015 in Telangana.
We are committed to uplift rural, tribal, and backward communities through holistic development initiatives. With a focus on education, healthcare, and sustainable livelihoods, we aim to break the cycle of poverty and empower individuals to build brighter futures. By engaging with local leaders and community members, we foster inclusive growth and cultivate self-reliant societies. Our efforts extend beyond charity, emphasizing empowerment through education, skills training, and access to essential services. Through collaborative partnerships and grassroots initiatives, we strive to create lasting positive impact in the lives of those most in need. Programs

Health Care

The Mathrubhoomi Rural Development Society is committed for the following:-

1. Spreading health awareness through Village Committee meetings.
2. Organizing General Health Camps at Mandal level, providing medical services and medicines free of cost.
3. Arranging Anemia Health Camps focusing on women and children, including testing, education, and medication distribution.
4. Following up with women in villages, promoting hygiene, and ensuring iron tablet consumption.
5. Budget allocation for health camps is based on available resources.
6. Conducting Natural Cure Health camps and Yoga Training Centers in Rural areas.
7. Collaborating with local healthcare providers, agencies, shops, and donors.
8. Launching a Mobile Hospital for rural areas.

Agriculture Programs

The Mathrubhoomi Rural Development Society supports five types of agriculture in rural areas:

1. Kitchen Gardens
2. Natural Agriculture (Food crops & Vegetables)
3. Cow-Based Agriculture in Organic Farming
4. Zero Budget Natural Farming: Jiwamrita and Biodung Compost Trainings
5. Milk Products and Nurseries

Women Empowerment

We are dedicated to advance gender equality and promote rights and opportunities of women. Through various initiatives, we strive to address issues such as education, economic independence, healthcare, and social justice for women. By providing resources, advocacy, and support, we empower women to realize their full potential and contribute to their communities. Our efforts aim to break down barriers and stereotypes, creating a more inclusive and equitable society. Ultimately, Mathrubhoomi works towards building a world where every woman has the opportunity to thrive and succeed.

Certificates Awarded to Women Trained in Embroidery at Matribhumi Center

Dr. Vamshikrishna, MLA of Achampet, awarded certificates to women who completed three months of embroidery training at the Matribhumi Self-Employment Training Center in Kondanagula village, Balmoor Mandal, Nagarkurnool District. During the event, the MLA praised the admirable service activities of Matribhumi and emphasized the importance of self-employment training for women's economic development in Kondanagula village. He assured support for similar future programs and the construction of a self-employment training center in the constituency headquarters. CBM Trust Chairman and Amrabad ZPTC, Dr. Anuradha, participated as the chief guest, highlighting that economic empowerment of women leads to overall societal progress and announced the donation of 10 sewing machines for tailoring training. Balmoor MPP Smt. Aruna Narasimharao expressed gratitude to Matribhumi Founder Manjula for organizing the training camp. Matribhumi President Ramakanth explained the organization’s objectives and distributed certificates to the trained students. Cloth bags made by Matribhumi were presented to the MLA. The event saw active participation from a large number of women, JDPHS Principal Sri Vishnumurthy, Puttu Srinivas Reddy, Mandal Congress President Malreddy Venkat Reddy, senior leaders Sripathirao, Masanna, Ramprasad, Ashok, Shankar Goud, Mallayya, Mahamood, and Matribhumi staff members Chennakeshavulu, Parvathamma, Chandrakala, and Nasreen.

Inauguration of Free Hand Embroidery Training Center for Women

On April 4, 2024, a free hand embroidery training center for women was inaugurated at Kondanagula village, Balmuru mandal, Nagar Kurnool district, under the auspices of Matrubhumi Rural Development Society. Matrubhoomi President Ramakanth, trainer Parvathamma, in-charge Chenna Kesavulu, and representative of women's organizations Lakshmi Garu actively participated in this program.

On March 15, 2024, we initiated a free training center aimed at empowering unemployed youth with essential skills. The center offers a range of courses to enhance their employability and pave the way for career opportunities. This initiative seeks to provide valuable support to individuals in their journey towards securing sustainable employment.

Providing Exam Materials to Class X Students

On Feb 16, 2024, Matrubhumi Rural Development Society furnished exam materials to class X students at ZPHS Vellampalli, Varakala Mandal, Hanumakonda. Shri Peddi Anjaneyu, MPDO, P. Bhaskar (MPEO), and other dignitaries, including Matrubhumi's founder and state president, distributed materials. Speakers encouraged students to excel, with school officials, teachers, and parents actively participating in the event.

Mathrubhoomi in Nagarkurnool district has organized a Tailoring Training certificate distribution program to celebrate the achievements of participants who have completed the course. An environmental protection conference was held on January 11, 2024, to mark Swami Vivekananda Jayanti. Attendees included Matrubhumi president Ramakanth, founder Mrs. Manjula, Ramanatham youth members, and women's group representatives. Certificates of appreciation were given to participating students afterwards.

Computer Education for Students

Mathrubhoomi in Nagarkurnool provides computer training to underprivileged students. Through this program, disadvantaged youths gain essential skills in computer literacy, empowering them for future opportunities. By equipping these students with technological proficiency, Mathrubhoomi strives to enhance their employability and socioeconomic prospects. Through community support and partnerships, the NGO continues to make a positive impact on the lives of marginalized students in Nagarkurnool.

Embroidery Training

We provide embroidery classes specifically tailored for impoverished women and girls, offering them an opportunity to learn a valuable skill. Through these classes, participants gain both practical expertise and potential avenues for income generation. By empowering them with such training, the NGO aims to enhance their economic independence and overall well-being. This initiative contributes towards fostering self-sufficiency and uplifting marginalized communities. We have reached 59 women through this training.

Bicycles Distribution to Chenchu Tribes

Our NGO has distributed free cycles to the Chenchu tribes residing in the Nallamala forest area, Telanagana. This initiative aims to improve the transportation and mobility of the Chenchus, enabling easier access to essential resources and services. By providing these cycles, Mathrubhoomi seeks to empower the Chenchu community and enhance their socio-economic prospects. This effort also promotes sustainable modes of transportation within the forest region, contributing to environmental conservation. Through such endeavors, Mathrubhoomi continues its commitment to uplift marginalized communities and foster inclusive development.
